Exclusive: Dharma Productions to get bigger as Kjo invests in a new office

Mumbai: Karan Johar is going all out to take the legacy of his father, late Yash Johar forward. One of Hindi film industry’s most prominent voice has taken the production house that his father left behind to new heights over the past years. The place, above a popular coffee shop in Khar, is a landmark of sorts in Mumbai. Also, the parking area had also made it to few of his films that he produced.

However with his line up of movies he now feels the need to have a bigger space to carry out bigger operations. DC has learnt that star director has already invested in a bigger property in Andheri.

Interestingly, Karan’s office currently has the same old charm and interiors that were suited to his father’s tastes. Currently he occupies the entire floor that is divided into a main office and edit room.

Karan Johar said, “We are moving out unfortunately because we needed more space and we are growing. The new office will be in Andheri. It is not ready and it will take another year.”
