iOS 9 update: Siri gets smarter, colourful

Apple is expected to launch iOS 9 at the Worldwide Developers Conference

On June 8, Apple will be holding the Worldwide Developers Conference, and at the meet the tech giant is expected to launch the iOS 9 as well. And if rumours are to be believed, in the next iOS, Siri will sport a smarter and a colourful avatar.

Siri, which is the digital personal assistant offered on the newer Apple devices, at present has a translucent and plain black-and-white interface. However, the Apple Watch features Siri in colours. And so the media experts are speculating Apple will add those colours to Siri on other iOS devices as well, with the new iOS.

As reported by 9To5Mac, Apple may work on Siri’s intelligence with the new iOS. Like Windows Phone’s Cortana, Apple should develop Siri further so it not just adds reminders and alerts but also delivers their notification.

However, they also reported, that the iOS 9 will come with fewer new features, as Apple will concentrate more on making the operating system more stable and well-grounded this time. Therefore, the new iOS will primarily have bug fixes and improvements.

Presently, all Apple devices are running on iOS 8.3 and the iOS 8.4 is in its beta version and is soon expected to be rolled out.
