Rihanna’s dress took two years to make, in China

Rihanna, in an interview, has revealed the yellow dress she wore for the Met Gala, took a stunning two years to make.

“I saw this beautiful beast on the Internet. I was looking through, you know, researching Chinese couture...It’s handmade by one Chinese woman. It took two years to make this,” she told Vogue.

Also, the whole thing was stitched together by just one person — designer Guo Pei. The singer’s choice of wardrobe was one of the gala’s most ‘interesting designs’. In fact, it took a total of three people just to help her climb up the stairs.
