Pakistan behind agitations against composite townships for Kashmiri pandits

Pakistan and ISI are trying to ensure that separatist leaders, launch a major agitation

New Delhi: Credible evidence available with Central intelligence and security agencies reveal that Pakistan has been directing separatist leaders in the Kashmir Valley to launch a massive agitation against composite townships for Kashmiri pandits.

The intelligence agencies have told both, the Centre and the Mufti Muhammad Sayeed government in Jammu and Kashmir, that Pakistan has sent out a clear message through a network of underground workers linked with hardline separatist leaders in the Valley that they must keep up the pressure over the issue of special townships for the pandits.

Pakistan and its Inter-Services Intelligence spy agency are trying to ensure that separatist leaders, particularly the Hurriyat, launch a major agitation on the issue akin to a civil disobedience movement. Intelligence reports reveal that ISI operatives have pressed the panic button over the possibility of the Mufti government starting a dialogue with the separatists.
