IPL 8: Mitchell Starc a big asset for RCB, says David Wiese

According to RCB all-rounder, Australian pacer has lead from the front
Bengaluru: With Royal Challengers Bangalore still searching for their elusive win at home, all-rounder David Wiese is keen to take advantage of his side’s upswing in form in their recent outings to turn the M Chinnaswamy Stadium into a fortress.
“It’s no secret that we have struggled at home this season. But we have played nicely over the past two games and built up good momentum. We have quite a few back-to-back games now and that’s always nice for momentum. We’re looking to make this venue a fortress for ourselves again,” said the South African.
Asked about the reason for their change in fortunes, the 29-year-old was honest in his views. “We have sat down and been honest with ourselves and said that we haven’t been good enough. We started analyzing the opposition and got specific game plans for each player.
The bowling attack has really stepped up in the past few games and with Mitchell Starc coming back, he’s been a big asset for us. He leads from the front and has been big for us so far,” he said.
