Hot on the heels of the Hansika Motwani video scandal, this time it’s another A-list Tollywood actress who finds herself the victim of an MMS clip that’s been in circulation on Whatsapp and the Internet for the last ten days.
The clip shows a woman, who remarkably like Anushka Shetty caught in a compromising position and making out with what seems to be a boyfriend or paramour. Though blurry, the woman in the video does resemble the star a lot — though its unclear if it could be a doppelgänger. The video could be the result of a phone hack or a hidden camera — though there is theory that it also could be from an adult film, doctored by some miscreants.
When Anushka’s representatives were contacted, they denied any knowledge of a video as such even existing. Meanwhile, it continues to be shared fervently on messaging platforms. This is the latest such incident in a series of high-profile cases that have targeted actresses such as Vasundhara Kashyap, Radhika Apte, Hansika Motwani, Aparna Nair among others.
