CCTV found inside Kolkata Water Park, police registers case

CCTV cameras were installed to monitor the lockers, says Water Park officials

Mumbai: A woman visitor spotted a CCTV camera inside the changing room of Aquatica Water Park in Rajarhat area of Kolkata.

According to the woman, when she raised an alarm and enquired about the matter with the security officials, they misbehaved with her. The woman also claimed that there are 7 CCTV cameras in the park.

Meanwhile, the water park authorities have refuted her claims, saying that due to some renovation work in the old women’s changing room, CCTV cameras were installed to monitor the lockers.

However, Kolkata Police has filed an FIR in the case and are investigating the matter.

In the first week of April, Union HRD minister Smriti Irani spotted a CCTV camera in Fabindia showroom in Goa, which created a storm and led to the arrest of 4 Fabindia employees.
