Gautam Gulati refutes rumours of being ousted from ‘Azhar’

Mumbai: Ever since he won ‘Bigg Boss’ last season, life’s been a whirlwind for Gautam Gulati. After making an official announcement of entering Bollywood with ‘Udanchoo’, the actor has been in limelight for some or the other reasons.

Gautam recently opted of 'Udanchoo' to feature in Ekta Kapoor’s much talked movie ‘Azhar’, a biopic on Mohammad Azharuddin. However, there were rumours of him being ousted from the film. It was believed that his attitude had irked the makers, and hence they decided to take an action.

However in a statement to Absolute India, Gautam said, “I am definitely doing Azhar. Right now, I am at the workshop of Azhar. These are just baseless rumours.” The actor refused to divulge any further details about his character.

Gautam has signed a three film deal with Balaji Telefilms Limited. While there have been reports about being approached for the second film ‘XXX’, he maintains that has not been approached for the same.
