Pizza delivered by bomb disposal robot stopped man from killing himself

Most of us resort to pizza in moments of extreme hunger and frustation. Pizza has rescued us when there is no food or help at sight. In this case one man in San Jose California was saved by a pizza.
According to Metro, UK a man on an overpass was threating to jump to his death. The California Highway Patrol spent five hours using tactics ranging from officer-led conversations to professional negotiators trying to lure the man down, all to no effect. That’s when Sergeant Chris Sciba decided that they would deliver a pizza to the man. Using the Northrup Grumman Remotec Andros F6A bomb disposal robot, police transported the life-saving dish to the man and waited.
Thirty minutes after the robot-delivered pie was sent, the standoff was over, and the man was taken into custody. Hats off to the police for thinking outside the box to save a life.
