According to certain reports popular playback singer Sunitha was part of Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Brahmotsavam directed by Srikanth Addala. Now, reports suggest that she has rejected the film.
But, the truth is that the singer hasn’t been approached for any project. Many of her friends in the industry have asked her to act, but Sunitha doesn’t want to do so, as she is busy anchoring TV shows, singing and dubbing.
“I don’t know where this news came from. This is completely wrong,” says the singer who is back in the city after a hectic schedule in the US and Dubai.
Apparently all that happened was that the producer of the film met Sunitha and asked her, ‘Why don’t you act in films?’
Later, the producer discussed a particular role for Sunitha with his director, but she wasn’t informed about the same.
A crew member who overheard the entire conversation leaked the “news” about Sunitha being considered for a character and thus followed the reports.
