Mumbai: Kieron Pollard took sarcasm to a whole new level during the Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bangalore tie in the Indian Premier League on Sunday in Bengaluru.
The West Indian used sellotape after his sweet nothings did not go down well with the umpires. While the umpires tried to make Pollard listen, the Mumbai Indians’ superstar did not seem too pleased with the attitude of the match officials.

The officials looked little flummoxed with Pollard’s antics. However, to avoid such a situation in the future, they can seek some inspiration from a football referee.
The referee, who players seem to fear and respect because of his no nonsense approach, did this brilliant trick when the players tried to get better of him. While cricket is yet to introduce a card system like in football, the on-field umpires can learn a trick or two this referee.
