Father plans to sell his kidney to cure morbidly obese kids

They are among world's heaviest young children

A family of 6 resides in Gujarat, India and Is fairly normal with the exception that 3 of the kids are morbidly obese, suffer from an obesity disorder, and demand an incredible amount of food everyday. Rameshbhai Nandwana and Pragna Ben, the parents, struggle as the try to make ends meet and deal with the health issues that follow.

While one of his daughters, Bhavika, 6, is perfectly healthy and weighs 16 kg, his other daughters, Anisha and Yogita, and son, Harsh, all had a normal birth and their birth weights were normal and healthy. However, after a few months they started putting on weight, and since then they haven’t stopped.

According to Daily Mail, Nandwana revealed that he spends most of his income on food for his children because, if they don’t eat the exorbitant amounts, the impact on their health will be drastic and change for the worse. Each of them eats 5 meals a day that consists of 17 chapatis, 4 pounds of rice, several packets of chips, biscuits, 12 bananas, soft drinks, milk and buttermilk, several bowls of vegetable broth. Their father is tremendously worried that soon he will not be able to fund their appetite as he is only a labourer and earns around 3000 Rs. a month.

Nandwala has decided that he is ready to sell his kidney, if it comes to that, to pay for the treatment that his kids require and deserve so that they can go on to lead a life, receive an education, and move and play. Doctors and pediatricians have suggested that the children suffer from ‘Prader-Willi-sydrome’ that leads to over accumulation of fat, over-eating, impeded growth, and learning restrictions.
