Chandini Ssasha's three point agenda

She aims to globally promote Sandalwood industry in best possible way and also help farmers

Back with Khaidi in Sandalwood, Chandini Ssasha of the fame of A, a path breaking movie in Sandalwood, has chalked out a ‘three point’ agenda for herself! Putting her experience as an actress, academician and Hollywood film distributor to good use, the pretty actress has planned to give back to the society. Firstly, she has decided to continue her acting by signing at least two movies a year, and then to globally promote Sandalwood industry in best possible way and finally to help farmers.

The actress, who is all set to make her debut in Kollywood opposite Gulshan Grover, a bilingual project being made both in Tamil and Hindi, has revealed that she has signed a big project in Mollywood opposite a top actor. She further said that producer of A film Manjunath has approached her for another exciting project. “At least half the A team – myself, composer Gurukiran, producer will be part of the upcoming Kannada project,” said Chandini Ssasha.

The producer of A film B.G. Manjunath, further added that next venture along with Chandini Ssasha will be made in association with Bollywood’s Venus movies along with several Bollywood technicians such as Santosh Thundiyil who has worked as cinematographer for popular Bollywood films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Krrish, and many more including his recent one Jai Ho.

The multi-talented actress, who was recently invited by the U.S. government, said that the U.S. is keen in helping Indian farmers. “I feel proud when I am introduced as Kannada actress. I, wish to do my bit to the farmers, as my Ph D relates to agricultural marketing. I have initiated talks with few ministers here, expressing the U.S. government willingness to help Indian farmers,” said the actress, who has also bought a house in Bengaluru, to remain closely in touch with her fans, and most importantly to help farmers by arranging meeting of U.S. officials with the concerned state government authorities on agriculture issues.

She even expressed to use her limited expertise working as a Hollywood distributor to promote Kannada films on par with other South Indian language films.

Before singing off, Chandini thanked her mother, who encouraged to her pursue her higher education, and then take up films seriously. She also features in Bollywood’s upcoming film Traffic in a guest role opposite Manoj Bajpayee. In her Kollywood’s debut film alongside Gulshan Grover, Chandini plays the female lead in Thanneer being directed by Vasanth, which is adapted from writer Ashokamithran’s novel.
