Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli arrive in Kolkata for IPL 8 opening

Mumbai: Anushka Sharma and her cricketer beau Virat Kohli were spotted at Kolkata airport on Monday evening. Sharma is all set to sizzle on stage for the much-awaited opening of the Indian Premiere League (IPL) at the Salt Lake Stadium on Tuesday.

The actress will be dancing on her hit numbers at the grand opening along with other stars like Shahid Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan. The stars will come together to mark the beginning of the eight instalment of the exciting Twenty20 League. The show will be hosted by Saif Ali Khan.

The show is said to begin at 7:30 PM and will go on for about two hours. Virat Kohli will be leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore team, with his first match on April 11.

Anushka was recently in the news, after fans blamed the ‘Bombay Velvet’ actress for Virat’s one-run score at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 semi-finals. However the star hasn’t let that bother her and is gearing up for the grand opening tonight.
