Mumbai: This may come as sad news to Shahid Kapoor’s enormous fan base, but the actor will soon tie the knot with Mira Rajput, a Delhi-based English (Hons) student at Lady Sri Ram College for Women.
The 23-year-old bride-to-be is currently studying in her third year. According to reports, Shahid and Mira met through the religious group Radha Soami Satsang Beas. Rumour has it that couple got engaged on January 14, Makar Sankranti.
The couple has decided to lay low and has successfully managed to keep away from the eyes of the media. Shahid also reportedly visited Chhatarpur a few days ago, to meet his fiancée’s parents.
Shahid has been linked to many of his co-stars, but the actor has always maintained that he would get married to someone who didn’t belong to the film industry, as it would give him a different perspective to view life. The actor was also previously in a long-term relationship with Kareena Kapoor, and was later linked to other co-star including Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan and Sonakshi Sinha.
