Mumbai: That they are in a live-in relationship is known to all, but if the buzz is true, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are now engaged. The two apparently exchanged rings in a hush hush ceremony, away from the media glare at Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Ridhima Saini’s house in Delhi. Back home in Mumbai, Katrina’s ring hasn’t gone unnoticed by the paparazzi.
Says a source, “It’s been more than a year since Ranbir took Katrina to the RK house in Chembur to introduce her to his grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor. Since then he has gone to meet Katrina’s family in London and she has spent a considerable amount of time with the Kapoors. So this is not a surprise at all. They chose to have the engagement ceremony in Delhi instead of Mumbai to keep the media at bay.”
Recently there was news that Katrina had returned a film’s signing amount to Disney. It only fuels the speculation that the wedding bells will ring soon and in all probability, this year.
