Andhra Pradesh Budget session to begin on March 7

Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan will address both Houses on the first day of the session

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh finance minister Yanamala Rama Krishnudu will present the 2015-16 financial year Budget on March 12 in the Assembly. Mr Krishnudu, who is also holding the legislative affairs, on Monday held a meeting with finance and Andhra Pradesh Assembly officials at the Secretariat and finalised the tentative calendar of dates for the ensuing Budget session.

The Andhra Pradesh Budget session will be held over 16 working days from March 7 to March 27. Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan will address both Houses on the first day of the session. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will take part in the discussion on motion of thanks on Governor’s address on March 11.

Mr Krishnudu will present the annual Budget on March 12. The Andhra Pradesh Assembly will approve the Andhra Pradesh Appropriation Bill on March 27, the last date of the Assembly Budget session.
