Hyderabad: Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s spontaneous actions in real life create controversies often.
This time, RGV angered the city police by getting inside a police SUV and clicking a photograph on Sunday. He posted two photographs in his twitter account with the caption “I have just been arrested and I am the police.” After higher officials noticed it, they asked the police to initiate legal action against RGV.
According to police officials from West Zone the incident occurred in Srinagar Colony in the morning when a police patrol vehicle was parked by the roadside. RGV and his friends, who were hanging out in the area, came to the vehicle and started talking to the constables. He got into the SUV and sat beside the driver who was in uniform and asked his friend to click a photo. Then, he sat on the driving seat and posed for another photograph. While sources from Panjagutta said that RGV got into the vehicle with their permission, police officials denied it.
