Mumbai: Ranveer Singh, who is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ in Rajasthan injured himself while shooting for an action sequence on a horse. The team reportedly hired a number of horses, camels and elephants to shoot for a war sequence in the period drama.
A picture of a man who appears to be Ranveer Singh in costume has been doing the rounds on the internet, after several fanclubs posted on-location pictures. It is uncertain whether the man in question is the actor or a stunt double. However the resemblance is uncanny.
In the pictures Ranveer can be seen in a traditional Maratha warrior costume, as he will be essaying the title role of Peshwa Bajirao, a Maratha warrior. The film revolves around Bajirao and his second wife Mastani, essayed by Raveer’s real life lady love Deepika Padukone. The film also stars Priyanka Chopra who plays Kashibhai, Bajirao’s first wife.
The film is scheduled to release on December 25 this year.
