Looks like Raveena Tandon is doing her best to make up for all that time she stayed away from the arc lights. Apart from making a comeback with Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet, she will also be launching her brand of ethnic Indian wear in collaboration with a leading designer.
The ’90s star who will be playing second fiddle to Anushka Sharma in Bombay Velvet has no qualms about not being the main lead. In fact, she is confident of drawing accolades despite playing a supporting role of sorts. She is equally excited about her sartorial venture.
Says a source close to the actress, “After Malaika Arora Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Raveena, too, has plans to take her style icon image to the next level. In the ’90s she was looked up to for her style and with time she has only honed her skills.”
