John Abraham is following the footsteps of actors Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar with regard to his involvement in his films. He has, we hear, been actively helping producer-director Anees Bazmee with the promotions of their film Welcome Back.
Word is that the producers have worked out a detailed international promotion strategy that involves John and Anil Kapoor doing road shows. Confirms a unit member, “Anees is very happy about how actively John is participating in the entire procedure.
Apart from doing road shows in Dubai, they’ll do promotions in city gymnasiums as well. A final meeting with the film’s cast will determine the commencement day of the big promotional plans.” Buzz is that John has also been keeping a check on the progress of Phir Hera Pheri, right from its scripting to its execution. Looks like John’s another Mr Perfectionist in the making?
