Chennai: Anupam Sharma has taken over as the new manager of Chennai Railway Division on Friday. An IRSME (Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers) officer, Mr Sharma held the office of group general manager in rolling stock design division of M/s RITES Ltd in Gurgaon before coming to the city.
A Mechanical Engineer with a masters degree in financial management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Sciences (JBIMS), Mumbai, he has also worked in Mumbai Division in Central Railway.
He had served as additional divisional railway manager in East Central Railway at Samastipur too. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Management Policy from Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad.
