On the occasion of Maha Shivratari Hindi hashtag tops trends on Twitter
Although tweets in Indian languages have been around for a while now, but it was only recently that hashtags in Hindi actually rose up to top trends on the social media website, Twitter. On February 15th, when India played the ICC World Cup match against the archrival Pakistan, for the first time a hindi hashtag, #??????? became one of the most trending hashtags. Presently, on the occasion of Maha Shivratari, the hashtag #?????????? is making the rounds.
