Indian markets closed on Tuesday for public holiday

Trading will resume on Wednesday

Mumbai: Indian stock, debt and currency markets are closed on Tuesday for a public holiday. Trading will resume on Wednesday. The benchmark BSE index ended up 0.1 per cent on Monday, while the NSE index rose 0.04 per cent.

The benchmark 10-year bond yield inched up 1 basis point to 7.71 percent, while the partially convertible rupee closed at 62.1550/1650 per dollar versus Friday's close of 62.1950/2050.
