Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna
Shooting for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming film Lion is going on, in and around the city. A police station set has been erected specially for this film and is being used currently.
Balakrishna plays a CBI officer in the film. According to a source Balakrishna’s role is based on the real CBI officer J.D. Lakshminarayana, who is popular because of the Jagan Mohan Reddy case.
The source added that some scenes relating to that case have been added to the film. The film has actresses Trisha and Radhika Apte playing the female leads and Satya Dev is directing it.
