In keeping with the spirit of the upcoming ICC World Cup 2015, national carrier Air India has launched a new on-board menu on their India-Australia flights.

The menu will be launched on the first day of the mega event- February 14 and will be on till the tournament ends (March 29). Not all dishes are named after Indian cricketers though. Passengers traveling business class can have South African cricketer JP Duminy's favourite — a non-vegetarian Hors D'oeuvre made with prawn kolivada and chicken harayali tikka, served with creamy cheese and vegetables, or Criss Gayle’s Lamb Goulash with potato wedges, carrots and minted green peas.

Besides, they will get individual menus signed by cricketers and those in economy will get to savour the dishes but not get a menu individually.

The mouth-watering cricket World Cup menu has been put together with the help of many past and current Indian cricketers employed by the airline, including VVS Laxman, Nikhil Chopra, Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh.
