Patna: A three-year-old girl was found hanging from a tree on Saturday in Madhubani district of Bihar. The girl, found with several injury marks was rushed a private hospital for further treatment.
According to doctors, the girl had serious injury marks on her private parts. According to the local police, the girl was abducted and brutally assaulted before being hung from the tree.
The girl had gone to visit her father at a private nursing home when the incident took place. Her family filed a missing report in the nearby police station, after she failed to come home.
Police have arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with the case. Further details are awaited.
