PM Modi was wearing Rs 10 lakh suit, says Rahul Gandhi at Delhi rally

He also took a dig at Modi’s pet project ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’

New Delhi: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday hit out at PM Narendra Modi saying that he has ‘fooled’ the nation on the issue of black money stashed in foreign accounts.

He said that the PM misused public's money to get himself Rs 10 lakh suit during US President Barack Obama’s India visit. The PM’s suit had stripes that spelled out his name all over it.

Gandhi was addressing a rally in Delhi's Seelampur on Thursday. He also took a dig at Modi’s pet project ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and said that it was nothing more than a photo-op for BJP leaders.

Lashing out at AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, Gandhi said that his party only believes in agitation and not constructive work for the city.

“The first thing our Congress Chief Minister will do, is to give permanent employment to contract basis workers,” he said.

He also said that BJP intends to divide the capital on religious grounds. Delhi votes on February 7 and the results will be announced on February 10.
