The entire crew of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' participated in the social initiative
Mumbai: Salman Khan has a massive fan following and now an entire village in Karjat has joined the ranks of his admirers. The actor led his entire team of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ to paint Hatluni village last month. Salman posted a heart touching video of the crew in acion.
The visit to village was an impromptu plan after a day’s pack up. Director Kabir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Himesh Reshammiya readily agreed to be a part of the social initiative. The unit was helped by a bunch of professional painters and the 30-member group managed to paint every house, the village library, and even the water tank, in under five hours.
The houses mostly made of mud and wood and with thatched roofs are all now brightly coloured in pinks and blues. The actor even brushed his painting skills by creating a masterpiece in one of the homes.
He not only gifted away saris to the women present but also engaged in a game of football. In the end of the video, a few locals narrate how they were touched by the kind gesture.
