The famous malayalam comedian Mala Aravindan, who was well appreciated for his roles in the industry passed away this morning. The actor was reportedly suffering cardiac ailment for which he was even hospitalised couple of weeks prior to his death.
His body was brought to Thrissur and kept at the Kerala Sahithya Akademi Hall for public viewing and at the St. Antony's High School, Mala. His mortal remains will be taken for cremation on Thursday.
Mala, who started his career as a tabla artist later went on to become an actor and has acted in over 650-odd films in a career spanning over 37 years. Mala Aravindan was admitted to Kovai Medical Centre Hospital in Coimbatore, following a massive heart attack and was shifted to the ICU, where he was diagnosed as having diffused block. He was on ventilator support.
The actor had earlier undergone an angiogram after being hospitalised.
