The girl was found unconscious after she had gone missing for sometime
Ghaziabad: An eight-year-old girl was raped by an unidentified person in Mussoorie area of Ghaziabad district, police said on Sunday.
Mussoorie police station in charge Virender Yadav said the girl was missing since 8 pm on Friday. After a frantic search, her family members, found her in an unconscious state at a nearby lonely place.
She was immediately rushed by her father to a private nursing home for treatment who informed the police later, Yadav said.
The minor has been sent for medical examination, he said, adding that an FIR has been lodged in the matter.
