Hyderabad: Angered for becoming close with his wife, a man attacked his friend at Balkampet in Sannjeeva Reddy Nagar on Thursday.
Sources said that Anikit and Divya got married two years ago. Though they were happy initially they later separated. Meanwhile, Anikit’s friend K. Srinivasulu, 26, started getting close to Divya.
Police said Anikit who was angered by their relationship came to the apartment in which they were living in and called Srinivasulu for a discussion. He then stabbed him on the back and other parts of the body. An attempt to murder case was booked and the accused was held. Srinivasulu was hospitalised and his condition is said to be stable.
