This Intel computer on a stick can convert your TV into a PC

Intel’s compute-on-a-stick device is a ready-to-go out-of–the-box computer

Intel unveiled a new device, which is a PC-on-a-stick that can turn any regular LCD TV into a computer. The PC-on-a-stick is nothing but similar to that of an Android TV or Chromecast, which includes a complete system on a chip (SoC) powered by an Intel processor and preinstalled with Windows 8.1 or Linux.

The Intel Compute Stick is a new generation compute-on-a-stick device that’s ready-to-go out-of–the-box and offers the performance, quality, and value you expect from Intel.

Pre-installed with Windows 8.1 or Linux, you can get a complete experience on an ultra-small, power-efficient device that is just four inches long. Yet, it packs the power and reliability of a quad-core Intel Atom processor, with built-in wireless connectivity, on-board storage, and a micro SD card slot for additional storage.

It is one simple device that can fit your pocket, easily portable and can convert any television or HDMI monitor into a fully-functional PC.

The Intel Compute Stick is said to retail at $149 (approx Rs 9,000).
