Introduced in India in October, the much-awaited HTC Desire Eye selfie smartphone has been finally launched in India. The smartphone is available for purchase at a price of Rs 35,990. However, HTC has made no such official announcement yet.

— mobilephones2go (@mobilephones2go) December 19, 2014When the HTC Desire Eye was unveiled in October, the company announced its release in November on Amazon India. Which, however, got delayed and HTC’s official website still lists the smartphone as ‘Coming Soon’.
The HTC Desire Eye features a 5.2-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. Powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, the HTC Desire Eye runs on Android v4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The smartphone is packed with a 2400mAh battery.
Popular as HTC’s selfie smartphone, the Desire Eye features a 13MP front and rear camera, which comes with an autofocus dual-LED (dual tone) flash.
