Al Ain (UAE): Indian Grandmaster Sahaj Grover continued his dream run at the Al Ain Classic international chess tournament defeating GM Evgenij Miroshnichenko of Ukraine to move to the joint second spot after the completion of the seventh round here on Thursday.

With his second victory against a GM with an ELO rating of 2600, Grover took his tally to 5.5 points out of a possible seven and emerged as the best performing Indian so far with just two rounds to left in the event.

After outplaying Constantin Lupulescu through a king side attack, Grover outwitted Miroshnichenko with another attack but this time the Ukrainian was outfoxed with white pieces.
