Rahul paid his homage to the deceased leader and talked to the Congress leaders

Hyderabad: AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi, Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh, several Telangana state ministers attended the funeral of veteran Congress leader G. Venkataswamy, who died on Monday.
Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh K. Chandrasekhar Rao and N. Chandrababu Naidu visited the residence of G. Vinod, Venkataswamy’s elder son, where the deceased leader’s body was kept.
Mr Gandhi had to spend half an hour at Begumpet Airport due to delay in getting permission from the Air Traffic Control for his return flight.
He paid his homage to the deceased leader and talked to the Congress leaders. He also evinced interest about the Begumpet Airport and the rule of Nizams.
