48 year old gets swine flu

The patient will now be shifted to Jubilee Hills facility for treatment

Hyderabad: A 48-year-old man from Kadapa district was diagnosed with swine flu on Monday. The patient came to Apollo Hospitals, Secunderabad, with severe cough, cold and high fever.

A senior doctor at the hospital said, “As the patient’s fever had not subsided despite medication, samples were sent for testing to the Institute of Preventive Medicine.

Swine flu was confirmed. The patient will now be shifted to Jubilee Hills facility for treatment.”

With swine flu on the rise in both the states, the city hospitals are taking extra care in handling such cases.
