New Delhi: Ana Ivanovic had a great time playing in the inaugural edition of the IPTL, the International Premier League. Easy to say so, as her team Indian Aces won the competition.
Just for one weekend, the former French Open champion had a chance to share the court with 17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer. Apparently, Ana was very well-impressed by Federer’s attitude and elegance.

"Roger Federer is truly a great champion. He is an impressive figure on and off court. I also have to say that he is a very beautiful person, a true gentleman. He is a great man, I have no doubts about it. We had a chance to talk quite a bit while playing for the IPTL. We talked about family and how to cope with competing while having one. When you hear advice coming from such a champion, it is easy for you to accept it,” revealed Ana.
The Serb was very nervous about sharing the court with the Swiss, as she revealed herself. “It really wasn’t easy at the beginning” said the Serbian star smiling.
