US drones to hound Tehrik-e-Taliban chief Mullah Fazlullah

Prime Minister Sharif was informed about the decision to take out Fazlullah

Islamabad: The decision of the Anti-Terrorism Court in Pakistan to grant bail to Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, accused of masterminding the 2008 terror attacks in Mumbai, which shocked India, came days after Taliban militants killed 145 people, including 133 schoolchildren, when they attacked an Army-run school in Peshawar.

Lakhvi is among the seven charged with planning and helping to carry out the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Meanwhile, a news agency quoting the Express Tribune reported, that the Pakistan Army and US-led forces in Afghanistan have decided to target Tehrik-e-Taliban chief Mullah Fazlullah using drones rather than a ground operation.

Prime Minister Sharif was informed about the decision to take out Fazlullah, nicknamed “Radio Mullah”, who it is said was in contact with the Peshawar school attackers.
