Motion Poster: Sushant Singh Rajput as 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshi'

Mumbai: Yash Raj Films is gearing up for 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshi' directed by Dibaker Banerjee which is set in Kolkata. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the title role and the actor is riding high with his small but impactful performance in 'pk' that released yesterday.

The film's first schedule took off in Kolkata and major of the film has been shot there. The film, a crime thirller, is based on detective Byomkesh created by Bengali writer Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. The first teaser of the film came out in October along with 'Happy New Year' which got the audience excited. Sushant's look is the talking point in the film so far and people have also loved the way the old charm of Kolkata has been brought to life in the teaser.

Detective Byomkesh Bakshi is set to release next year on 10 April, 2015.
