Watch: Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Broken horses' is a Mexican tale of love

The movie is slated to release in April

The barriers between Bollywood & Hollywood have been broken multiple times, with actors from Bollywood crossing over for movies in Hollywood, but this time its a director venturing into Hollywood. Vidhu Vinod Chopra has come out with the trailer of his first Hollywood venture.

'Broken Horses’ features very known Hollywood faces and some with major cult following like Anton Yelchin (‘Star Trek Into Darkness’), Vincent D’Onofrio, (‘Men In Black’) Thomas Jane, (‘The Punisher’) & Sean Patrick Flannery (‘The Boondock Saints’).
The teaser begins with a word of praise from James Cameron and ends with one from Alfonso Cuarón. The one and half minute trailer starts with on a happy note of a wedding and goes on to a sombre more. Yes there is a horse as the title suggests.
The story revolves around the bonds of brotherhood. Broken Horses is Chopra’s Hollywood directorial debut and the trailer promises high-end drama and power-packed action. The epic thriller is said to be about laws of loyalty and futility of violence.
Despite being a Hollywood movie written, produced and directed by a Bollywood Director, the trailer firmly esatblishes there is nothing Indian about the movie itself, which would be unprecedented and make ‘Broken Horses’ the first ever Hollywood film to be made by a Bollywood director.
