After many actors took part in the Swachh Bharat campaign, Balakrishna decided to join them. The actor-turned-politician participated in the Swachh Bharat campaign in his Assembly constituency of Hindupur on Sunday.
Balakrishna also appealed to his fans to participate and make this a lasting and continuing effort instead of a single-day event.
“I was part of the Swachh Bharat campaign. I think it’s important that everyone takes up this initiative with responsibility and keeps their surroundings clean and hygienic.
This should not be a one day thing, but an ongoing process. Calling all my fans and well-wishers to take up such initiatives,” said his social media post.
Balayya also created a mail id for the clean drive and asked people to send photos and videos of their involvement with the campaign.
