Nadapuram police had reported the names of the police personnel

Kozhikode: The Crime Branch team, investigating the sexual abuse of LKG student at Darul Huda English Medium School in Parakadavu, has taken the statements of the victim, teachers and of two policemen who have been accused of leaking out the case records from Nadapuram police station to a DySP, who is said to be close to the school management.

The Crime Branch team led by chief investigation officer, DySP Mohanachandran, has questioned the teachers, who allegedly tried to cover up the case and also, the statements of the victim and her parents.

Later, Mohanachandran summoned two policemen, one senior civil police officer attached to the Nadapuram station and another civil police officer who had come from Vadakara station, to the government guest house, Nadapuram and interrogated them for 45 minutes.

Nadapuram police had reported the names of the police personnel, who were accused of leaking out the case records from the station and handing them over to another DySP at his residence.

The same police personnel were accused of teaming up with the DySP to plant a bus cleaner as the main accused in the case in order to help the school management.

Sources told DC that the Crime Branch team had got crucial evidences against the school management and the victim has stood firm on her statements given to the earlier investigation team.
