Tiger Shroff to play lead role in Hindi remake of '21 Jump Street'?

Karan Johar has reportedly purchased remake rights of the hit Hollywood film

Mumbai: Hindi remakes of Hollywood films seems to be the flavour of the season for Karan Johar. After ‘Warrior’, ‘The Intouchables’, another he has yet another film in mind for a remake.

According to a report in Absolute India, Karan Johar has purchased the rights to remake the action-comedy ‘21 Jump Street’ and is considering casting Tiger Shroff for one of the lead roles.

A source was quoted as saying, “Karan is planning to start the film by mid next year. He is keen to sign Tiger Shroff who is one of the impressive newcomers for one of the lead roles.”

‘21 Jump Street’ is the first film of the Jump Street franchise which released in 2012 starring Hollywood hunk Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill. The story revolved around two cops who go back to high school under cover to bust a drug mafia.

We can’t wait to see what Bollywood touch Karan gives the hit film.
