Chennai: Rich India MD, the prime suspect in the assault of PT instructor of school case, has approached a city court seeking bail. D. Arulananthu, 38 of Kodambakkam has filed the petition in principal sessions court, Chennai, barely a day after his arrest and detention in Puzhal prison. Earlier, he also filed anticipatory bail petition before the court.
Six others, who were arrested and detained in prison, also sought bail. When the petitions came up for hearing before the court, additional sessions judge S. Malathi posted the matter to December 5 for further hearing.
