BJP would never succeed in tarnishing Mamata's image

KOLKATA: In a counter attack against BJP president Amit Shah, the Trinamul on Sunday refused to acknowledge the success of the saffron party’s “Utthan Diwas” rally in Kolkata and described it as a “grand flop show” with poor attendance.
“Such meetings are organised by our block presidents. Despite its attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and party chief, BJP would never succeed in tarnishing her image.
The whole world knows about her honesty and there cannot be any doubt,” Trinamul’s all India secretary general Partha Chatterjee said.
