Trailer talk: Get set for an adrenaline rush in 'Badlapur' starring Varun Dhawan
Sriram Raghavan is ready with the trailer of his next release, ‘Badlapur’ starring Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi and Yami Gautam. The makers will officially launch it on December 2, Tuesday but DC chanced upon watching the trailer in advance. We tell you the first impression of watching the sleekly cut trailer.
Varun Dhawan
He is re-born as an actor. Sriram has given a lot of detailing to his character like his dialouge delivery and especially his look and right from the word go, Varun’s fierce act pulls you right in the thick of action. Girls may have dreamed about him and men would have envied him for the cute lover boy avatar he has. But this time, those peircing eyes of Varun’s character, Raghu, are not looking for love but for revenge.
Music
Producer Dinesh Vijan told us that they have worked a lot on the music of 'Badlapur' and the song used in the teaser will be your partner in your darkest moment. Music duo Sachin-Jigar have composed the tracks and the songs lift the scenes to a new level.
Visual Impact
The scenes are dark, in close captures and make an impact, something you expect from a Sriram Raghavan thriller. Every frame tells you a new story building up your interest towards its plot.
Dialogues
A couple of dialogues, which we don’t want to reveal, are the high points of the trailer and specially towards the end, it will leave a revengeful smile on your face.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui
He doesn’t have a line in the trailer yet his screen presence leaves you with a powerful impression. We are told the face off between him and Varun is not just another tale of retribution but it is extremely gripping and will keep you at the edge of your seat. Yami and Huma are also shown in the trailer.
