Gauahar Khan slapped on the sets of 'India's Raw Star' for wearing 'short clothes'

Mumbai: Gauahar Khan, who was hosting the finale episode of reality TV show ‘India’s Raw Star,’ was slapped and teased by an unknown man from the crowd on Sunday at Filmcity.

The police have detained Akil Mallik, 24 for physically attacking the actress. A case of molestation has been registered under section 354 and Mallik will be produced in Borivali court today.

According to the police, Mallik walked up to the stage, and misbehaved with Gauahar before slapping her. A source present on the sets said, “He slapped Gauahar, and said that she belongs to the Muslim community and still wears short and revealing clothes.”

Gauahar who was present at the Aarey Sub Police station was in a state of shock, and refrained from commenting on the incident.
