Chennai: Actor Khushbu who has joined the Congress on Wednesday said that she would meet DMK chief M. Karunanidhi if she gets a chance.Speaking to reporters at the Chennai airport on Thursday, Khushbu further said that she has no hesitation to meet and speak with Karunanidhi.
“I did not leave DMK just because I was not given recognition. I did not like to be in the party and hence, I left,” Khushbu said. “I neither expect any recognition nor a posting in the Congress party. But I will be happy to hold a post if the party’s high command wishes to,” she said.“I saw Indira Gandhi and Rajiv ruling the country as a child and I was inspired by them to join the Congress party,” she said.
