AP farmers get ready for land pooling

The farmers are now readying to give their lands for a better package
Guntur: The farmers and landowners of the land pooling villages are psychologically preparing about losing their lands for new capital considering the statement of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu about shunning soil mixing.
The farmers who earlier severely opposed the fertile land usage for new capital are now readying to give their lands for a better package expressing fear that the government will snatch their land.
YSR Congress committee and NAPM team experienced this change during their visits to the land pooling villages. YSRC and NAPM teams analysed severe protests from farmers against land pooling but protests from only few farmers made them wonder during the interactions. YSRC and NAPM members are alleging that the government is misleading farmers with the statement of shunning soil mixing statement and this is further changing the attitude of the land pooling village’s farmers.
A resident of Rayapudi, SM Subhani, running Kokila Limra Biryani Point at Tullur, said that the natural calamities are the main hurdle in the cultivation process which incurs huge losses to farmers. He said that besides this, farmers earn money only during harvest despite working hard all days with the soil but one can earn daily income in other businesses hence farmers are ready to give lands.
